Job description

The beautiful Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson, located in North Scottsdale, is seeking a Director of Rooms to join our team!
Position Summary
The Director of Rooms is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for leading all Rooms Division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Concierge, Reservations, and Laundry. This position drives operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, and team member engagement while ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards and company policies.
Essential Functions
Guest Experience Leadership
Champion Hilton's culture of hospitality by delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the hotel. Drive guest satisfaction, loyalty, and service excellence through initiative-taking leadership and service recovery. Monitor guest feedback, Stay scores, Stay Experience results, online reputation metrics, and social media reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Rooms Division Operations
Direct and oversee Front Office, Bell/Valet, Housekeeping, Laundry, Guest Services, and Reservations operations while ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards and quality assurance requirements.
Financial Management & Revenue Optimization
Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, labor plans, and operating expenses. Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor productivity, flow-through performance, and guest satisfaction metrics.
Leadership & Talent Development
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing leadership teams. Promote Hilton values, leadership competencies, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, local regulations, safety requirements, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
Strategic Leadership
Serve as an active member of the Executive Committee and collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Human Resources, and Finance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum 5-10 years of progressive hotel operations experience and 3-5 years of Rooms Division leadership experience.

Guest Satisfaction (Stay Experience Platform), Housekeeping Quality Scores, Brand Quality Audit Results, Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, Labor Productivity, Team Member Engagement, Retention, and Safety Compliance.
Reporting Structure
Reports To: General Manager. Direct reports may include Front Office Manager, Director of Housekeeping, Reservations Manager, and Laundry Manager.
