Park Bank is looking to add an experienced, talented member to our Human Resources team, and we're eager to talk with you! We're looking to fill the position of Senior Talent Management Specialist, a skilled human resources professional responsible for leading strategic recruitment, new associate onboarding, and key talent management initiatives. As a member of a driven, high performing, small-but-mighty team, the Senior Talent Management Specialist will serve as a strategic partner to leaders across the bank, playing a critical role in attracting, developing, and supporting top talent while helping move Park Bank's strategic HR goals forward.
As the Senior Talent Management Specialist, strategic recruitment is where you shine, bringing a consultative approach to sourcing, hiring, and supporting managers through the full recruitment lifecycle. You are passionate about creating a top-of-the-line candidate and associate experience, while also leading key programs such as onboarding, performance reviews, career pathing, and compensation recommendations. You take initiative, think strategically about process improvement, and enjoy turning ideas into impactful programs that support associate growth and organizational success.
Essential Functions & Duties
Strategic Recruitment
โ€ข Collaborate and consult with hiring managers when hiring needs arise
โ€ข Create engaging and enticing job postings for open positions
โ€ข Collaborate with Marketing on creation of branded and engaging job ads and utilization of social media, and other various online platforms, to promote open jobs
โ€ข Actively and continuously source passive candidates through various online mediums
โ€ข Engage in ongoing community involvement with Park Bank Community Partners, and other relevant banking networking organizations; attend career fairs as needed
โ€ข Keep Park Bank's DE&I Mission top of mind when recruiting - this includes ensuring a fair and equitable recruitment process for all candidates
โ€ข Review resumes, identify qualified candidates, and conduct phone screens
โ€ข Ensure a positive candidate experience through the entire recruitment process
โ€ข Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the interview process, consulting hiring managers on best practices, facilitating the interview process, providing resources, assisting managers as needed
โ€ข Facilitate the offer process for candidates (compensation, offer letters, background checks, etc.)
โ€ข Utilize the Predictive Index tools to guide the hiring process by identifying the right candidates and collaborate with managers on hiring decisions โ€ข Continuously identify opportunities to streamline or improve the recruitment process through internal resource utilization, HRIS optimization, and external vendor engagement
New Associate Onboarding
โ€ข Function as the lead point person on all things New Associate Onboarding
โ€ข Coordinate all logistics for monthly New Associate Onboarding, including clear communication with candidates, hiring managers, training staff, senior leaders, and any other individuals involved
โ€ข Process all necessary new associate onboarding tasks through HRIS
โ€ข Ensure the ongoing evaluation of the efficacy of Park Bank's onboarding practices and procedure, regularly assessing opportunities for potential enhancements or improvements to the experience
โ€ข Ensure a positive associate experience through the onboarding process - ensure associates and hiring managers have a clear understanding of the onboarding process, schedule, requirements, etc.
Learning Management System
โ€ข Responsible for facilitating all required LMS courses for entire organization - for new associates upon hire and throughout the year for all associates
โ€ข Partnership with Compliance and IT Leadership to ensure all compliance requirements are being adhered to with assigned training
โ€ข Collaborate and communicate with management to ensure completion of required courses
โ€ข Ongoing evaluation of efficacy of LMS usage, identify opportunities for improvement, enhanced usage, streamlining, etc.
โ€ข Collaboration and partnership with LMS vendor
Associate Talent Management and Career Development
โ€ข In partnership with HR Leaders, facilitate Associate Career Pathing & Leadership Development Programs at Park Bank through resource creation, communication, ongoing evaluation of efficacy, identifying areas for improvement, collaborating and consulting with managers
โ€ข Act as system owner for Predictive Index and evaluate opportunities to use PI tools for strategic associate/manager growth and development.
โ€ข Own the full cycle Year End Performance Review Process (with strategic support from HR Leadership) including timeline planning, communication, facilitation, and continuous improvement.
โ€ข Support HR Leadership with Manager Training Program as needed
โ€ข Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company's compensation philosophy to ensure alignment in talent decisions.
โ€ข Provide salary grade recommendations for new or revised positions based on market data and internal equity.
โ€ข Provide individual pay recommendations for new hires, promotions, and internal movement.
โ€ข Partner with HR leadership to ensure compensation practices support organizational goals related to retention, performance, and internal equity.
Misc. Human Resources Duties
โ€ข Process all Associate Position Changes in the HRIS and company intranet
โ€ข Ongoing evaluation of HRIS Utilization, monitoring and identifying for areas of improvement, clean up, etc.
โ€ข Various HR Team project work throughout the year
โ€ข May assist with other HR Department tasks outside of the Talent Management areas as needed, especially at year end
โ€ข Engaged and active member of the HR Team, participating in HR Team Meetings and other functions
โ€ข Continuously and actively seeking ways to enhance HR skills and knowledge
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business or HR related field
โ€ข Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience including talent management, recruitment, and performance management
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Strong presentation skills
Preferred Education and Experience
โ€ข Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions
โ€ข Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover talent development, performance management, data analytics and relationship management
โ€ข Experience in all areas of strategic sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and job fairs
