About the Role
To keep pace with our rapid growth, we're expanding our recruiting team. We're looking for an experienced Recruiter who is serious about every phase of the hiring lifecycle and committed to Neighbor's first core value: Hire & Develop the Best.
In this role, you'll be a key talent partner embedded across the business, covering the full spectrum of roles: Software Engineering, Finance and Data, Sales, Marketing, and Support. You'll work closely with operators and leaders across all of these functions to bring in the people who will define what Neighbor becomes.
Above all else, we're looking for someone that can sell the vision of Neighbor and attract world-class talent to apply to our positions.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and outreach to offer and close, across a range of roles including high-volume and niche searches
  • Build and manage candidate pipelines through passive outreach, job boards, referrals, and channels you identify, including the latest AI enabled recruiting methods
  • Design and facilitate interview processes that accurately assess talent and remove bias
  • Partner with hiring managers to sharpen their interviewing skills
  • Be a champion for the high bar on candidate quality and find ways to raise the bar
  • Learn Neighbor's business deeply to represent it credibly to candidates and act as a true strategic partner to stakeholders
  • Use data to track pipeline health, hiring velocity, and the quality of each hire

Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication, direct, clear, and not afraid to push back
  • First principles approach to problem solving; you remove roadblocks rather than work around them
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple searches simultaneously
Preferred
  • Experience at a growth-stage tech startup or recruiting agency
  • Technical recruiting experience,
  • especially hiring senior software engineers
  • Prior sales experience
  • Familiarity with using data to validate hiring outcomes
  • Confident, coachable, and thrives in a fast-moving environment
