As the Program Manager, Contingent Workforce, you'll be accountable for directing and controlling all phases of the client requisition process to support contingent labor hiring for assigned job categories, successfully optimize supplier relationships, ensure labor mix is optimal for site support and maintain program compliance. You will also participate in various program initiatives to positively impact talent quality, program costs, process efficiencies and risk mitigation for GXO.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Support of hiring managers and suppliers in all stages of the requisition to invoicing process to ensure successful fulfillment of contingent workforce requirements
  • Consult and assist hiring managers in the approach and identification of quality resources in a timely manner
  • Manage cost controls and compliance to program processes
  • Build and optimize external supplier relationships to drive performance and ensure adherence to program processes and contractual obligations
  • Communicate opportunities for continuous improvement, issues and risks to leadership
  • Train hiring managers and ensure compliance with hiring processes including the onboarding and offboarding of contingent workers
  • Assist with supplier performance reviews/assessments and program reporting
  • Review use of labor within a site, collaborate with the operations to ensure that the proper labor mix is used to support site needs

What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 3 year of experience in contingent workforce programs or contingent workforce vendor management
  • 1 year of experience in contingent workforce programs or contingent workforce vendor managment supporting a 3PL environment
  • Proven experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Project, Word, PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel skills

It'd be great if you also have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field
  • CCWP
  • 5 years of experience in contingent workforce programs or contingent workforce vendor management
  • 3 years of experience supporting contingent workforce in a 3PL environment
  • Proficiency with vendor management systems; Fieldglass a plus
  • Experience supporting high volume requisition activity in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to partner and deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
