Position Overview

The Internal Wholesaler supports business development efforts by identifying and advancing new opportunities, converting leads, and contributing to the growth of assets under management. This role partners closely with external sales to present Symmetry Partners' investment and advisory solutions, build and maintain relationships with advisors and prospects, and support ongoing client engagement. The position also collaborates with Marketing on targeted initiatives, monitors sales activity and performance metrics, stays current on industry and regulatory developments, and assists in representing the firm through client interactions and industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market outreach.
  • Convert qualified leads to new clients and increase assets under management (AUM).
  • Present and explain Symmetry Partners' full suite of investment and advisory solutions, including:
    • Model Portfolios
    • Tax-Loss Harvesting Solutions
    • Mutual Funds & ETFs
    • Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
    • Technology and Practice Management Solutions
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted sales campaigns and materials.
  • Track and analyze key sales metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent Symmetry Partners at conferences, client meetings, and industry events.

Minimum Competencies & Qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Series 7 and 65 licenses required
  • 5–7 years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals with a client-first approach.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and wealth management solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and collaborative team player.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office Suite
