| Employer & Industry | Military, government agencies, tactical units | Hospitals, urgent care centers, trauma units |
While both Tactical Rns and Emergency Room Nurses hold RN licenses and share certifications like BLS and ACLS, Tactical Rns typically work in military or tactical environments, focusing on field and combat scenarios. Emergency Room Nurses operate mainly in hospital ERs, managing acute trauma and medical emergencies. The roles differ mainly in work setting and specific operational focus, though both require critical care skills.
