What is the difference between Tactical Rn vs Emergency Room Nurse?
| Aspect | Tactical Rn | Emergency Room Nurse |

| Certifications | RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) | RN license, BLS, ACLS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) |
| Work Environment | Military or tactical operations, field settings, combat zones | Hospital emergency departments, trauma centers |
| Employer & Industry | Military, government agencies, tactical units | Hospitals, urgent care centers, trauma units |
While both Tactical Rns and Emergency Room Nurses hold RN licenses and share certifications like BLS and ACLS, Tactical Rns typically work in military or tactical environments, focusing on field and combat scenarios. Emergency Room Nurses operate mainly in hospital ERs, managing acute trauma and medical emergencies. The roles differ mainly in work setting and specific operational focus, though both require critical care skills.
