  • Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) San Diego, CA

Security Clearance:

  • Top Secret/SCI level clearance required

Description:

  • Provide specialized support for BMD training and operations.
  • Requires a high level of expertise in maritime BMD tactical doctrine, radar systems, and training evaluation.
Minimum Experience Requirements
  • Six (6) years experience conducting shipboard BMD watch-team training or recent in-depth experience conducting BMD exercises, training or operations.
  • Attained Aegis BMD Watch Officer Qualifications.

Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 15% of the year (primarily week long trips).

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate onboard BMD training events, including BMDEX and FST-J, at locations such as San Diego, Everett, Pearl Harbor, and Yokosuka.
  • Train and evaluate shipboard BMD watch teams, providing shipboard leadership information on training certification processes and status.
  • Review draft BMD operational task documents, including SPINS, OPGEN, OPTASKs, and other warfare planning materials.
  • Assess and validate ship BMD exercise performance.
  • Provide expert feedback on tactical conduct and support tactical planning.
  • Evaluate participating units' performance based on BMD standards and provide recommendations to government entities such as C3F or ATG San Diego.
  • Deliver 6-8 hours of classroom instruction at TTGP on BMD threats, operations, and capabilities.
  • Revise course materials based on the latest operational guidance by utilizing government-provided tools to enhance instructional support.
