Job description

We are actively hiring experienced Field Heavy Equipment Technicians for multiple openings in North Carolina like Seaboard NC, Roanoke Rapids NC, and Scotland Neck NC. These are long-term opportunities with reputable equipment companies offering strong pay, benefits, and career growth.

Position Overview:
Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment in either a shop or field environment.

Equipment Worked On:
• Excavators
• Dozers
• Loaders
• Skid Steers
• Telehandlers
• Other construction equipment

Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of heavy equipment repair experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Experience with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, or similar is a plus
• Own tools preferred
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
