What You’ll Do

  • Install & Wire Systems: Install and wire fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intercom, and intrusion systems using blueprints and building plans.
  • Program Systems: Configure and program a variety of security and life safety platforms.
  • Perform Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and testing on systems to keep them performing at their best.
  • Repair & Troubleshoot: Diagnose hardware and software issues, repair system malfunctions, and ensure reliable system performance.
  • Testing: Test components such as circuits, sensors, and backup systems to verify proper operation.
  • Provide Support: Assist end users, explain system functionality, and offer technical support when needed.
  • Document Work: Keep accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
  • Integrate Systems: Help integrate security and life safety technologies with related subsystems.
  • Train Users: Teach customers how to operate and maintain their systems effectively.
  • Follow Safety Standards: Adhere to all codes, safety practices, and company policies during installation and service work.
  • Manage Inventory: Maintain tools and track parts and materials needed for each job.
  • Collaborate: Respond to work orders, communicate with clients, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
