Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior COTS Integrator to join a team building performance-monitoring solutions for complex systems. The selected candidate will leverage Jenkins-based automation to execute performance checks and instrument environments to capture key metrics. They will develop software using REST APIs to automate data collection and use the Elastic Stack to store and visulaize performance insights. The role involves integrating open-source and COTS solutions within a secure environment utilizing PKI authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of network, operating system, application, and end-point performance, alolng with excellent communication, collaboration, and results-driven skills.

Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana), including Elastic Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
  • Installing, updating, and/or maintaining multiple Elastic Stack environments
  • Creating and modifying Logstash pipelines
  • Creating and modifying Kibana visualizations
  • Instrumenting systems with Elastic Agent and Elastic APM Agent
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL) and OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP)
  • Experience with Python and/or Vega programming
  • Familiarity with web application technologies (e.g., html, JavaScript, web servers, and application servers)
  • Proficient in UNIX commands
  • Proficient in Windows
