Application Integration Architect

Chicago, IL โ€“ flex WFH schedule, possibility for full remote

We are a PE firm experiencing extreme growth and acquisitions of new companies require us to successfully integrate their business and IT applications. This role will add tremendous value as we assimilate business operations from other companies.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Gain an understanding of the business process flows and how they translate to supporting IT applications, databases, datawarehouses, etc. and document same
  • Gain an understanding of data flows and ETL/ELT within the acquired companies and understand 3rd party integrations and document same
  • Combine your knowledge of existing Revantage IT solution offerings and application capabilities to identify opportunities to leverage those and/or call out where new technology investments must be made
  • Understand the process and tools and effort levels associated with transferring the IT and business operations and associated data to existing Revantage systems
  • Lead the development and maturation of the Revantage SOPs surrounding the onboarding and offboarding of Blackstone investments/companies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on all aspects related to application and data integrations
  • Define and manage business process and technical architecture modeling artifacts including process workflows, business domain models, class diagrams, data models, sequence diagrams, use case models, collaboration diagrams and other visual modeling aids
  • Improves architecture by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
Skills We're Seeking
  • 7+ years with IT application mapping and strong experience with business process design and modelling of technology enabled processes
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, understanding business goals and designing solutions to meet these business goals
  • Strong cloud-based software & data architecture experience
  • Strong experience with data mapping, data modeling, data engineering, ETL/ELT and associated technologies
  • Strong experience with APIs
