Job Description
Overview
SOSi is seeking a Systems Engineer C4l and/or C5ISRT experience to support a government program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This position will support a multi-functional team and requires both strong technical and collaborative skills. Extensive on the job training will be required and the ideal candidate will embrace the knowledge transfer process.
Essential Job Duties
  • Leverage technical expertise to develop creative solutions to technical problems related to
  • communications equipment.
  • Write and review reports related to hardware and software capabilities.
  • Develop hardware and software prototypes and emulators. Conduct testing to validate solutions.
  • Create schematics for existing equipment and prototypes.
  • Develop custom data processing tools in Python, C++.
  • Provide detailed written test reports.
  • Conduct demonstrations of tests for line and supervisory personnel.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Active in-scope TS/SCI with Cl Polygraph.
  • 5 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • 5 years of experience supporting software development.
  • 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with Labview.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Strong oral communication skills, including conducting formal presentations.
  • Experience with UHF, HF, and ELF frequency spectrums and encrypted communications
  • systems/equipment.
  • Service in US military or as a contractor/government employee supporting C4I/C5ISRT missions.
  • Experience writing code in Python and C++.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in systems or electrical engineering.
  • 10 years of experience in system engineering.
  • 8 years of experience supporting software development.
  • 8 years of electrical engineering experience.
