Systems Engineer II
Fort Meade, MD
We're seeking a Systems Engineer II to support our U.S. Government program(s). The Systems Engineer II will be responsible for the below.
• Experience as a hands-on Systems Engineer
• Experience supporting test of developed solutions, pre- and post-deployment, or test to troubleshoot and recreate issues identified in the field
• Experience working with end-users, to answer questions, support troubleshooting of issues, or train them in the use of the system
• Experience in data analysis to evaluate performance, identify issues, or support solution recommendations
• Experience developing and managing requirements
• Strong interpersonal, communications and writing skills.
• Basic Linux skills.
• Working knowledge of modern communications networks.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelors is desired. An additional five years of experience can be substitute the degree.
  • Experience:
    • Fourteen years of experience as a Systems Engineer
  • Other:
    • An active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate Polygraph (Poly).
    • Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Must be an excellent communicator - verbal & written.
    • Must be able to work with team members and by individually.
    • Must be able to connect with individuals of varying backgrounds.

Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 190,000.00 USD / year
Salary Description: The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
