Job description

Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company is seeking Requirements Systems Engineer (DOORS/Cameo)t in Patuxent River, MD. Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $95k-$140k (depending on experience)

Work Location: Onsite.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and maintain requirements in DOORS, ensuring complete traceability across program deliverables
  • Receive, review, and upload requirements, specifications, and technical data into government systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships and traceability between DOORS, ENOVIA, and Cameo Models
  • Support multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), including avionics, air vehicle, sensors, and weapons
  • Coordinate technical reviews with government stakeholders and contractors
  • Produce and review technical documentation, including:
    • Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
    • Specifications and Requirements Matrices
    • Test procedures and reports
  • Perform requirements traceability analysis and support system validation efforts
  • Maintain configuration control of requirements artifacts and ensure compliance with program processes
  • Analyze historical program documentation to support system engineering decisions
  • Provide guidance and training on requirements management best practices to program stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

Required:

  • Experience with requirements management and systems engineering in a DoD or NAVAIR environment
  • Proficiency with DOORS for requirements traceability and management
  • Experience supporting Program Offices or IPTs through the acquisition lifecycle
  • Strong ability to analyze, organize, and manage complex technical requirements
  • Experience reviewing and producing technical engineering documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple stakeholders

Desired:

  • Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler (MBSE)
  • Familiarity with ENOVIA or similar configuration/PLM tools
  • Prior experience supporting PMA programs or Navy aviation platforms
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies
  • Experience developing or delivering requirements management training or process improvements
  • Exposure to system test documentation, validation, or verification processes

Education/Years of Experience:

5+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field OR Equivalent experience (highly considered) in:

  • Systems engineering
  • Requirements management
  • DOORS / MBSE environments

Security Clearance:

Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
