Job description

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring multiple Systems Engineers to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Systems Engineer on our team you will perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concept of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development; performing high-level system design; specifying system/component performance and interface requirements; and developing installation, integration, and acceptance test plans.

Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts. Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements. Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams. #AJCM

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (e.g.: computer science, mathematics, or physics) plus 10 years of relevant experience; OR
  • Master's degree in Engineering or relevant technical field (e.g.: computer science, mathematics, or physics) plus 8 year of relevant experience; OR
  • Doctoral Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field (e.g.: computer science, mathematics, or physics) plus 6 year of relevant experience
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
