As a Security Officer Badge Systems Coordinator in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure, efficient environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, document visitor and vehicle information, and direct authorized traffic according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift documentation for access activity, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
