COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST| SIX MILE, LLC

Reports to: Production Control Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

The Computer Systems Analyst provides technical support to Kodiak BOSS contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Specify and provide hardware and software solutions for technical operations and testing for the U.S. Coast Guard.
  • Develop custom hardware and software products with technical documentation for distributed and networked research.
  • Works on data acquisition systems using configuration managed software code base.
  • Assist staff with software and hardware requirements specification and implementation estimates.
  • Technical support on windows systems, mobile devices, printers/scanners, TVs, monitors for users.
  • Supply monitors, and computer key accessories for users.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network components and maintain connectivity.
  • Create and configure accounts for new or existing end users.
  • Assist in purchasing and improving IT hardware for business.
  • Ensure proper documentation ensuring accurate and reliable records.
  • Samsara administration, with users accounts and Wex cards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and 1-2 years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications.
  • Experience with various CMMS, Maximo and Microsoft Oss platforms; and demonstrated relevant experience in any specific programming languages.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of software programming experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with MAXIMO or a comparable CMMS required.
  • Fortran, C, C++, C#, or Python using Microsoft Visual Studio or Qt development environments.
  • Experience with development and integration of commercial software solutions, and open source software solutions, for custom hardware and software projects.
  • Technical expertise in computer/engineering systems design and analysis.
  • Demonstrated software project and system documentation development experience for requirements, design, acceptance testing and user guides.
  • Working Knowledge of distributed network protocols and transport mechanisms TCP/IP, UDP, RPC, DCOM and OPC.
  • Familiarity with Endpoint Management Systems (Intune, Zoho Manage Engine)
  • Strong mathematics, mechanical or electrical background will be considered favorably.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, database and basic accounting software.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
