Job Description:

  • We are looking for a Systems Administrator Lead to join our program supporting a key government customer. This individual is responsible application design, development and deployment of DoD systems.

The System Administrator Lead shall posses the following capabilities:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
  • Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.

    Desired:

  • Experience with Agile requirements management and sprint planning for technical IT development teams.
  • Master's Degree in any of the below disciplines.
  • Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or equivalent.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and three (3) years of combined experience in IT systems administration, IT system/software development and integration, IT system/software testing, cybersecurity compliance, IT system troubleshooting, and incident response OR High School Diploma and five (5) years of combined experience in IT systems administration, IT system/software development and integration, IT system/software testing, cybersecurity compliance, IT system troubleshooting, and incident response.
  • Demonstrated two (2) years of experience in system administration of Sponsor systems of similar scope or complexity.
  • Demonstrated six (6) years of experience in application design, development and deployment of classified DoD systems of similar scope or complexity.
  • Four (4) years of combined experience in Sponsor's Amazon Web Services environment (C2S or C2E) cloud systems administration, containerization, cloud environment management, and compliance assessments.
  • Experience with SecDevOps tools, such as CI/CD, code repositories, testing suites.
  • Experience providing troubleshooting support for IT systems within DoD environment.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, designing and administering relational databases, NoSQL data solutions, IT system/software testing and configuration management practices.
  • Experience using IT operational status tools of Amazon Web Services and implementing IT Operations situational awareness insight using monitoring and logs, such as in Splunk dashboards, ElasticSearch, ServiceNow.

Certifications Required:

  • Certified in AWS or equivalent cloud technology

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 190,000-240,000
