Job description

This position facilitates and supports SOF joint training and readiness events within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) by assuring technology meets the needs of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Supports the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) during training and readiness events and the development of Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs).

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and solves computer problems, and assures technology meets the needs of the program.

  • Provides technical mentorship that supports broader training readiness objectives by advising staff on system capabilities, scenario infrastructure requirements, and Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) integration considerations.

  • Maintains the SCIF environment by applying SCIF and DoW security standards, supporting inspections and accreditation, maintaining system logs and configuration controls, and orienting users on approved procedures.

  • Manage user accounts across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years recent, full-time supporting systems on classified networks.

  • Experience supporting DoD, USSOCOM, TSOC, Service Component, or other federal enterprise IT environments.

  • Must hold Security + certification (certification shall not expire within the first 6 months of hire).

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Must be able to clearly communicate via phone, portals and instant messaging with end users and technicians.

  • Technical expertise in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of all associated and follow-on operating systems.

  • Knowledge of SCIF open/close procedures.

  • Familiarity with SSO and Industrial Security coordination processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+ or Network +.

  • Associate’s degree.
