The Manufacturing IT Integration Manager will accelerate synergies and drive plans to address gaps to drive accelerated outcomes within Manufacturing IT portfolio. This role is responsible for tracking/reporting actionable roadmaps required to meet the IT Manufacturing vision/mission objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of strategic foresight, robust program management, and deep automotive domain expertise. You must excel at mapping complex dependencies, tracking issues across multi-layered systems, and leveraging AI and automation tools to drive operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with plant operations, engineering, internal and external stakeholders to help track progress across the Manufacturing strategic action plan.
Although this is classified as a remote position, candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
For this role, we have a preference for candidates based in the Dearborn, MI area or the Eastern United States who can accommodate a 7:00 AM EDT start time twice a week (or as needed) to align with our team schedules. Additionally, this position may require occasional domestic travel of up to 10%.

Qualifications
You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or a highly analytical/quantitative field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 3-5 years specifically within an automotive manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Skills will include:
    • Proven track record of taking high-level organizational strategies and breaking them down into tactical, executed projects
    • Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (e.g., Stamping, Body, Paint, Assembly, Powertrain, or EV Battery assembly).
    • Strong familiarity with integration architectures applications and Industrial equipment's.
    • Data analysis skills and comfortable working with large datasets and financial budgets.
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Workboard ,MS Project etc.) to manage planning, and dependency mapping.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of AI/ML tools, RPA software (e.g., UiPath), low-code automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate), or AI-assisted coding/workflow tools.

  • Master's or MBA Degree
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record of influencing stakeholders and managing conflict in high-pressure manufacturing environments
  • Industry Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), Agile/Scrum (CSM/PMI-ACP), or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
  • IIoT & Cloud Expertise: Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) protocols (MQTT) and cloud platforms for manufacturing data analytics.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for manufacturing environments to ensure integrated systems remain secure against cyber threats

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $132,800- 250,800.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
