Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations across multiple business units. This role will be responsible for driving full lifecycle ERP implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful ERP deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including planning, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively manage mitigation plans

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with business leaders to define requirements and ensure alignment with operational needs
  • Coordinate activities across IT, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional areas
  • Manage internal project teams and external implementation partners

Implementation Oversight
  • Oversee data migration, system configuration, integration, and testing activities
  • Ensure effective user training, change management, and adoption strategies
  • Support cutover planning and go-live execution, including hypercare support
  • Manages project costs
  • Provides oversite on all project costs
  • Reviews and approves invoices from implementation partners, ideally using time sheets provided by the partner.

Operational Excellence
  • Drive standardization of processes and best practices across ERP implementations
  • Ensure proper documentation of project deliverables, configurations, and processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives following implementation

Other Duties
  • As time allows, this position may be asked to support other non-implementation ERP tasks:
  • Projects for ERP Applications that are already in place.
  • ERP Module Support

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • 4-5 years of experience as an ERP Project Manager
  • Proven experience leading a minimum of 3 full-cycle ERP implementations
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional IT and business projects

Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, SAP, or similar)
  • Experience with data migration and validation
  • Experience with system integration and testing
  • Experience with business process transformation
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)

Leadership & Communication
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
