Sapphire for BDS is Boeing’s enterprise modernization program to standardize and unify digital engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing processes across defense platforms. This role partners with IT, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and stakeholders to plan, track, and deliver program objectives on schedule, within budget, and to the required technical performance and safety standards. The Program Manager will report to the Sr Manager of the SEIT organization and partner day-to-day with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Program Integration Office (PIO) and customer program managers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) efforts for the Sapphire program, owning test strategy, planning, execution, and closure across lab, ground, and flight environments.

  • Develop and maintain the program-level test & verification master plan, detailed test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria; ensure traceability to system requirements.

  • Define, establish and manage integration labs, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups, test benches, telemetry, and data collection/analysis capabilities necessary to execute test campaigns.

  • Coordinate cross-discipline integration and test activities with cross functional IT bedrocks (ERP, MES, PDM) and I&I and subcontractor teams.

  • Lead test execution for complex system-level integration events, anomaly resolution, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions; drive test defect lifecycle to closure.

  • Establish and implement test automation, repeatability, and regression frameworks to facilitate continuous integration and continuous verification.
