Web Design Specialist

C² Technologies seeks a Web Design Specialist to work with clients to produce web-based resources that apply design thinking and user-centered design principles. The Web Design Specialist will leverage web platform capabilities to achieve client goals while maximizing user experience. This is an onsite or hybrid position.

Summary:
The Web Design Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly websites and web resources for training and educational purposes. This position requires collaboration with clients to define content and design structure while ensuring the accessibility and functionality of the final product.

Responsibilities:

  • Create web pages and design structures to ensure easy navigation and access to content.

  • Collaborate with clients to identify design requirements and user goals.

  • Design websites that meet Section 508 accessibility standards.

  • Produce wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other training technologies.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in web design and development.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Google Sites, and MS Teams.

  • Strong knowledge of responsive web design and accessibility standards (Section 508).

  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and graphic design tools.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS).

  • Familiarity with eLearning courseware and digital training products.

  • Knowledge of user interface and web design principles.

Tools amp; Software:
