Job description

The Work:
Systems Administrator to support the Combat Rescue Helicopter contract. This positive will be located at Kirtland AFB, NM. The selected candidate must be a self-starter able to work independently and in a team environment. The selected candidate will responsible for the following:
Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux-based simulator systems and servers
Monitor system performance, availability, and integrity across simulator devices
Perform system patching, updates, and configuration changes in accordance with operational schedules
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues impacting simulator performance
Support integration and operation of simulator subsystems (e.g., I/O, visuals, motion, avionics interfaces)
Maintain and troubleshoot RAID systems, storage solutions, and backups
Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access in compliance with security requirements
Ensure systems meet cybersecurity standards, including STIG compliance and vulnerability remediation
Document system configurations, maintenance actions, and discrepancies in official logs and tracking systems
Coordinate with engineering, network, and field service teams to resolve complex issues
Support pre-mission checks and ensure systems are ready for scheduled training events
Work alongside the CRH Maintenance Team to resolve system related issues
Hands-on work with hardware, server racks, and simulator components
On-site support of simulator systems in a secure facility
Shift work, on-call support, or extended hours during critical operations
Travel required
