Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, VMs, and supporting software in an air-gapped environment.
  • Works with peers to support windows and Linux environments
  • Setup and maintain Windows Server environments to include AD, Group Policy
  • Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.
  • Pro-actively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.
  • Train junior systems administrators in best practices and day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as needed.

SKILLS:

  • Experience with Windows Server.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Exposure to basic DevOps and software development workflows.
  • Familiarity with enterprise management of IT Systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. 
  • Active IAT level II Certification
  • 3+ years of Systems Administrator Experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00.  The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
