Evaluate, develop, revise, and maintain systems and corporate services as determined by business requirements and service environment. Provide assessment of requirements and functional specifications specific to systems and network services. Perform application and system review and testing for performance and issue resolution.

The Systems Administrator will work extensively with other system administrators, developers and project management. Related projects will be fast-paced, requiring a high degree of team collaboration and adaptation. Success is measured by the systems availability and the timely design and development of applications while meeting project requirements and goals. Systems administrators are required to be on pager and be in rotation for on-call duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Maintain network and systems integrity through timely updates, upgrades, and bug fixing.

Provide system and network analysis, troubleshooting and bug fixing.

Maintain existing network hardware/software network infrastructure.

Design, develop, and test applications and custom deployments meeting functional and technical requirements.

Participate in architecture and analysis discussions as required by projects and business.

Have availability for immediate response and on-call duties.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

Significant real world experience with Unix and Windows Server Operating Systems required.

Experience in the development and maintenance of SQL server databases and related hardware and software, Internet security and communications.

Experience developing interfaces with other systems, such as TCP/IP, e-commerce engines, e-mail systems, back-end databases, Internet security protocols and firewalls, etc., is essential.

Experience in scripting with XML, Perl, PHP, SQL, C, JavaScript, or PowerShell.

Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Proven ability to work effectively with people at various levels and across multiple disciplines within organization.

Must be comfortable in a small development environment and be able to effectively deal with the competing priorities and needs from multiple projects.

Ability to commute to different office around the region as required.

Ability to work overtime as needed
