Our Digital Technology (Digital) organization ensures that RTX teams across the globe can communicate, collaborate, and innovate for customer success. As a Raytheon Digital Technology Program & Infrastructure Systems Administration Senior Manager, you will collaborate and partner with many cross-sections of Digital, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Program Leadership partners, in support of the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit.
In this role as Senior Manager, System Administration this leader will be responsible for leading a team of up to sixteen high-performing technical professionals to enable program execution across multiple security domains, which include engineering labs, testing ranges, and factories. The leader will establish a vision, set direction, develop, and motivate the team to deliver business value and results. The leader will partner across Digital Technology and other RTX functions to help ensure operational excellence across our classified and unclassified program work environments. The leader will be accountable for team success and will ensure execution of the team's work. The leader is responsible for all aspects of people management including hiring, staff development, training, and performance evaluations.
What You Will Do:
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team; oversee performance management, task assignment, training, and onboarding to ensure alignment with Raytheon's vision and values.
  • Manage implementation of information technology (IT) projects and system administration functions.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders including peer groups, Program Leads, Cyber Teams, and Engineering-to enable seamless Digital Technology service delivery and technology evolution.
  • Assess whether new program requirements can be met by existing infrastructure or if new/modifications to PWE are required, considering cost impacts to DT and the program.
  • Develop and maintain hardware and software refresh/replacement plans to support program lifecycle needs.
  • Assign and monitor projects and tasks using JIRA and JIRA Service Management Tools.
  • Manage and record employee performance.
  • Create and submit periodic status reports and accomplishments to the next level of leadership.
  • Ensure information systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
  • Administer time reporting, training, recruiting, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Up to 25% of travel, most will be within 45 min - 90 min drive to other supported RTX locations in the MA and RI areas.
  • 100% onsite

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have active and transferrable final U.S. government issued secret security clearance. Security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."
  • Experience with IT System Administration duties
  • Experience managing, supervising, or leading a team in technological environments.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience managing teams in a high pace Agile / DevSecOps environment.

  • Knowledge of DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG requirements and controls.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
