Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple System Administrator IV in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $115k-$185k (depending on experience)

The System Administrator IV supports the Navy by administering, maintaining, and securing enterprise IT systems across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. 

Essential Functions:

  •  Lead administration and optimization of enterprise systems and server infrastructure. 
  • Ensure compliance with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements. 
  • Oversee system performance, availability, and high availability configurations. 
  • Resolve complex system issues and provide technical leadership. 
  • Mentor junior administrators. 
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

  • 8-12 years of experience in relevant field. 
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Experience supporting enterprise IT environments. 
  • Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD environments. 

Desired:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs. 
  • Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, or enterprise systems. 
  • Relevant certifications (Security+, RHCSA, AWS, etc.).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work in complex environments. 

Security Clearance:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
