Job Title:  Construction Administration Intern 

Department: Construction

Reports to:  Sherrie Walker 


Job Summary:


Overview: Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit affordable homeownership affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, partners with families and neighborhood residents to build homes and revitalize communities. Our service area includes the city of Atlanta and the cities and neighborhoods of South Fulton. Atlanta Habitat is seeking a Construction Administration Intern to support our mission. 


 Position Summary

 Duties/Responsibilities:

Attend New Hire Orientation.

Understand overall concept of company and goals of construction team.

Work on designated construction administration projects.

Learns to become proficient on internal software systems such as Monday.com, Salesforce and Buildertrend.

Respond to emails and coordinate homeowner maintenance requests.

Prep paperwork for 2026 home build schedule. 

Support the Construction department as needed.

Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday with a minimum 12 hours a week. 

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.


Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
