Role: Product Owner โ€“ IFRS to US GAAP / LDTI
Location: Frederick, Maryland (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term

Core Requirement (What They Really Need)

They are looking for a Product Owner who understands:

  • US GAAP accounting
  • LDTI (ASU 2018-12)
  • Life Insurance / Annuities
  • Financial reporting systems
  • Agile Product Ownership

This is NOT a generic Product Owner role.

The candidate must have a strong combination of:

  1. Finance/Accounting knowledge
  2. Insurance domain expertise
  3. Product Owner / Agile delivery experience

Must-Have Skills (Primary Filter)

1. US GAAP + LDTI Experience

Candidate must know:

  • ASC 944
  • LDTI (ASU 2018-12)
  • CECL
  • Insurance financial reporting

2. Life Insurance / Annuities Domain

Candidate should have worked in:

  • Life Insurance
  • Annuities
  • Actuarial/Finance reporting projects

3. Product Owner Experience:
