JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, provide general clerical support of night shift warehouse operations.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday - Friday

7 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. (30-minute lunch)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate, clear flags and export orders in BFC Dakota in the truck builder for night shift selectors.
  • Communicate with the routing department for special instructions on a nightly basis.
  • Collate all labels, check-offs and load sheets for night shift operation.
  • On a daily basis, complete all duties shown on the daily list.
  • Track and record shipping statistics for the night shift on a nightly basis.
  • Review catchweight data input for accuracy.
  • Develop invoices for all routes.
  • Collect and distribute all needed documentation for the transportation department.
  • Adhere to all applicable good manufacturing practices (GMP), personal hygiene, and safe quality food (SQF) policies and procedures as described in the European imports - Sysco food safety training manual.
  • Assist in product recalls as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is required.

Experience

  • 1 - 2 years of previous keyboarding experience utilizing a keyboard to enter, retrieve and manipulate data is required.
  • Previous data entry experience on a PC is preferred.

Professional Skills

  • Basic Excel skills are required.
  • Good communication skills are required.


Working Conditions:

  • General working conditions - exposed to adverse conditions 5% or less of the time.
  • May occasionally be exposed to adverse environmental conditions (0 - 32 degrees).


Supervision Received:

  • General supervision is received from the night warehouse manager.
