Position Overview:

Synertex LLC is seeking a versatile Graphic Designer and Web Development Specialist to provide a wide range of creative and technical multimedia support for a U.S. Government agency. This role focuses on delivering high-quality graphic design, web development solutions, and video production services in support of mission-driven communication efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design principles, branding, digital content publishing, and multimedia production, with a keen eye for crafting visually compelling solutions aligned to client objectives. This individual will support creative projects by designing marketing materials, maintaining digital platforms, and producing engaging video content in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 RESPONSIBILITES:Graphic Design & Branding:
  • Develop creative designs and branding assets, including placemats, slick sheets, flyers, posters, logos, briefing materials, and other visual communication tools
  • Ensure all deliverables align with established branding and visual identity guidelines
  • Enhance communication strategies with visually engaging design solutions tailored to target audiences
  • Review and update visual assets to maintain quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into professional, high-impact designs
Web & Digital Support:
  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot web pages on platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and SharePoint
  • Support development and management of SharePoint sites, including content organization and layout design
  • Develop and update web and digital content to improve accessibility, readability, and user engagement
  • Apply UI/UX best practices and responsive design principles across digital platforms
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to improve effectiveness
Video Production & Multimedia Content:
  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content (e.g., promotional, training, explainer, event coverage)
  • Incorporate motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and infographics to enhance engagement
  • Perform post-production tasks including editing, color grading, audio enhancement, and captioning
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., captions, transcripts)
  • Identify and apply innovative multimedia tools and techniques
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with communications, marketing, and IT teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to provide creative and technical input
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver integrated multimedia solutions aligned to mission objectives
 REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Communications, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, web development, video production, or related roles
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
  • Strong experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles, responsive design, and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience with video production workflows, including editing and motion graphics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced branding and visual design experience with strong storytelling capabilities
  • Basic knowledge of server-side scripting or additional web development tools
  • Experience with emerging multimedia technologies and tools
