Synertex LLC is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a U.S. Government agency within the Policy and Capabilities Directorate. This role focuses on delivering strategic communications support for high-visibility initiatives, with a primary emphasis on the artificial intelligence (AI) portfolio.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in shaping and delivering messaging that enhances awareness, understanding, and support for key organizational priorities. This includes developing executive-level communications and ensuring consistency across internal and external outreach efforts. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, exceptional writing ability, and advanced visual design expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Communications Support:
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling talking points, narratives, and written materials for senior leadership.
  • Provide writing, editing, and advisory support for policy, strategy, and governance documents.
  • Create, assemble, and refine presentation materials (e.g., briefings, executive decks) to effectively communicate complex technical and strategic topics.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across initiatives and organizational priorities.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Partner with leadership, subject matter experts, and intelligence stakeholders to craft targeted messaging and visual solutions.
  • Align communication products with mission objectives, organizational guidance, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support outreach efforts that enhance visibility and understanding of mission-critical initiatives, particularly within the AI portfolio.
REQUIREMENTS:ย Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic communications, including development of executive-level written.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent design tools).
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical and policy information into clear, concise messaging and visual formats.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical portfolios (e.g., AI, policy, governance, innovation).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and Intelligence Community (IC) structures and mission.
  • Experience supporting large-scale policy, strategy, or governance initiatives in government or defense environments.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills.
  • Experience delivering communications products to senior-level audiences, including executive leadership and oversight bodies.
