MAJOR FUNCTION:

Perform various duties to assist in processing and servicing commercial/agricultural, and consumer loans. Perform various duties to assist in processing and servicing commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans. Training in specific bank software used for this job will be taught.


RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Type Commercial, Agricultural, and Consumer notes, fund loan, place into Synergy, organize, and maintain files.
  2. Prepare Commercial Real Estate Documentation.
    1. Enter files into Synergy.
    2. Assemble documentation in file
    3. Enter loan information for escrow and insurance.
    4. Type Modifications and Extensions/Renewals.
    5. Break files for loans paid or renewed.
  3. Prepare Small Business Administration loan documentation.
    1. Type notes and other related documents.
    2. Maintain financial statement and insurance list.
    3. Re-amortize annually to see if payment amounts change.
    4. Send letters if payment amounts change.
  4. Prepare and process sold participations and Bank of North Dakota Flex PACE loans.
    1. Type related loan documents.
    2. Maintain documentation for information being sent to BND and ND Development Foundation on a recurring basis.
  5. Balancing of accounts used in loan servicing and closing
  6. Process purchased participation loans.
    1. Set up on CORE system, complete Synergy documentation, and type comments.
    2. Type loan advances and make necessary CORE changes when processing payments.
  7. Type correspondence letters for Commercial/Agricultural Loan Officers
  8. Complete Business Record Searches at Secretary of State.
  9. Track insurance on commercial/agricultural chattel loans.
  10. Track insurance on commercial/agricultural real estate loans.
  11. Process all trust receipts and floor plan schedules - Commercial.
  12. Track and prepare missing title report.
  13. Process commercial/agricultural loan payments.
  14. Coordinate daily work and customer service duties with the Other Loan Assistants.
  15. Complete all initial and annual training requirements as outlined by ASBT.
  16. Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives and responsibilities of the lending function.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Good secretarial, computer and communication skills are required.

2. Telephone reception for commercial/agricultural division of lending area is required, as needed.

3. Mobility and flexibility to access files and maintain quality customer servicing for the consumer division is mandatory.

4. Working knowledge of business equipment such as loan calculators, fax, and photocopy machines is necessary.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Confidentiality and tactfulness in dealing with bank and customer information is mandatory.

2. Ability to conduct relationships with co-workers, customers, the community and the overall public in a manner which will enhance the bank's image and comprehensive marketing effort.

3. Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and projects.
