Synergy Wellness Center, located in vibrant downtown Hudson with an additional office 5 minutes away in beautiful Bolton, is an integrative wellness community that provides a warm, peaceful and respectful environment for our staff. Due to growth, we are hiring a Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, with experience supervising child and adolescent therapists, to join our group practice. The position will be based in our Hudson and/or Bolton locations.


Synergy offers supervisory support, CEUs, employee wellness programs, complementary yoga memberships and discounts on other Synergy Wellness Center's services. Upon completion of eligibility requirements, full time employees ( works 32+ hours a week) may participate in a full benefits package including PTO, medical, dental and vision insurance and a 401(k). Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor brings clinical excellence to Synergy Wellness Center through prior experience supervising child and adolescent therapists, continuous training and ongoing awareness of advancements in mental health research and best practices. S/he provides clinical and administrative supervision and mental health client care within our innovative wellness facility to create an atmosphere conducive to individual and personal growth for both clients and staff. As a leader in the organization, the supervisor represents Synergy Wellness Center at marketing activities including social media and community and networking events.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical supervision to therapists serving children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Fosters MA level Clinician's growth through group supervision and consultations.
  • Provides clinical coverage when a fellow Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Redacts Supervisee's records as needed for external requests for client records.
  • Fosters MA level Clinician's growth through group supervision and consultations.
  • Maintains and independently schedules caseload of clients.
  • Utilizes Electronic Health Record to maintain all scheduled appointments and completes discharge process for Outpatient Counseling clients as necessary.
  • Updates the Intake Team of any current and upcoming openings.
  • Maintains a schedule and caseload of clients as discussed upon hire.
  • Independently manages schedule and booking of client sessions.
  • Conducts initial assessments to understand clients' needs and concerns.
  • Provides therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Develops and implements personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs.
  • Adjusts treatment plans quarterly and as necessary in response to clients' progress and changing needs.
  • Completes and submits all required documentation including session notes and discharge notes in a thorough and timely manner as outlined in the "Timely Documentation Policy."
  • Fosters growth, oversees service delivery and supports supervisees.
  • Identifies strengths and areas of growth of direct reports.
  • Leads staff meetings as needed.
  • Collaborates with Clinical Supervisors to meet regularly as a clinical team.
  • Engages the team with other company departments to offer services and groups to offsite organizations that address the Emotional pillar of wellness.
  • Handles routine and emergent clinical or administrative situations as they arise.
  • Builds relationships with local psychiatric providers who can serve our clients.
  • Provides clinical coverage when a fellow Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Redacts Supervisee's records as needed for external requests for client records.
  • Provides marketing suggestions for the Therapy team and represents Synergy Wellness Center and the Therapy Department at events as needed.
  • Assists with screening, interviewing and obtaining references for all clinical positions.
  • Provides training and onboarding for new hires.
  • Offers creative ideas to serve the community and expand Synergy's influence.
  • Provides training and ongoing feedback for clinicians regarding records.
  • Stays current with advancements in mental health research and best practices.
  • Attends professional development training and pursues continuing education opportunities.
  • Creates an environment of continuous learning within the team
  • Fosters MA level Clinician's growth through group supervision and consultations.
  • Opportunities for other managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education):

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • Licensure including LICSW, LMHC, LMFT
  • Minimum 5 years providing clinical supervision and 2 years management experience.
  • A record of diverse work experience.
  • Both supervisory and direct clinical experience with children and adolescence is preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing professional staff training.
  • Demonstrated experience developing quality clinical treatment plans, assessments and progress notes.
  • Experience implementing utilization reviews and redacting clinical records.
  • Desire to work in an innovative, holistic company committed to wellness.
  • Experience representing the Company at community events, networking meetings, through blogs and social media.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to work with Electronic Health Records (Experience with Jane is a plus).

  • Strong detail and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through.

Work Schedule:

  • 32 hours per week consisting of a minimum of 25 weekly hours of direct clinical work with clients in person or telehealth, and 7 hours of supervisory and administrative work.
