Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and detail-oriented Account Manager to play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's impact in Avery Dennison's grass roots NCAA & Team Dealer channel . As an Account Manager, you will leverage your knowledge, and strategic mindset to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires an individual capable of defining new program requirements, managing end-to-end sales processes, and maintaining customer relationships.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Understand and influence customer's business models and objectives to ensure their success.
2. Oversee and manage the product development process from customer briefing to final approval, deployment, and order acceptance.
3. Oversee the end-to-end sales process, including inventory reports, customer sales reports, and product development trackers using digital systems and processes (Oracle SalesCloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Eloqua, pricing, and product specification tooling).
4. Resolve complex order, quality, or deployment issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
5. Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by answering questions and providing detailed information about our services.
6. Strong experience and proficiency in prospecting, social selling, and customer outreach.
7. Participate in store audits, lead customer meetings, and maintain account planners.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product innovations.
9. Collaborate across different teams to support sales growth and product development initiatives.
10. Maintain strong pipeline
Qualifications
1. Ability to travel up to 30%
2. Minimum 3+ years experience in team sports & licensed team sports sales (Pro, NCAA, Team Dealer)
3. Proven customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Deep understanding of U.S./Canada team sports calendar & landscape as well as NCAA NIL market
5. Proficiency in technical and digital skills, including use of Google Suite, ERP (Oracle preferred), pricing tools, product/customer databases.
6. Proven record of success in team sports sales both in retail and on field/ice/pitch/court
7. Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
8. Knowledge of heat transfers, twill, patches, badges and external embellishments
9. Flexible attitude with an eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities within a global Fortune 500 organization.
