Job description

Job Title: Material Handler Employment Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt) Location: Dallas, TX About the Opportunity Symbiotic Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and flow of materials throughout the production floor to maintain productivity and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Transport materials (frames, leather, fabric, components, mechanisms, foam, etc.) through kitting and direct floor requests Match materials with traveler documentation (product description sheets) Maintain material flow and ensure WIP (Work in Process) areas remain properly stocked Notify Supervisors and Leads when WIP levels fall below or exceed expected thresholds Scan job completions and labor transactions Pick up completed jobs and move them to designated queue areas Match covers and frames for upholstery Update day-by-hour production boards Assist with expediting reworks and follow up with other departments as needed Replenish workstations with raw materials and supplies Submit requisitions for department consumables Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives Utilize systems such as 4D and/or Oracle as required Maintain compliance with 5S standards Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications & Skills Ability to read, write, and speak English Basic computer skills Strong organizational and prioritization abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to lift 25-50 lbs

Ability to work in production environments, including non-climate-controlled areas Willingness to work overtime as required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Continuous walking, bending, lifting, and overhead reaching Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
