We're growing by leaps and bounds and we need ambitious, driven sales people who have experience in winning new accounts and territory growth.

Job Description

In the Major Account Manager role, you will:

  • Assess client staffing needs, requirements, performance, and overall satisfaction with Swoon's service levels
  • Expand existing client relationships by selling Swoon's staffing solutions and building relationships with hiring managers
  • Maintain strategic partnerships with client decision-makers
  • Identify additional opportunities for our services within various departments using creative sales tactics
  • Use the acquired knowledge to develop industry and/or geographic specific strategies to effectively penetrate the account(s)
  • Manage relationships with our client base by forecasting hiring needs and providing a consultative approach to assist in their daily operations
  • Build and create blueprints for account development and saturation
  • Drive revenue by closing new business opportunities consistently above targets within designated accounts
  • Maintain frequent communication with existing business to ensure quality control, repeatable services, and new business development
  • Work closely with the recruitment team and relationship managers to ensure a high-quality delivery of candidate placements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the top Swoon competitors and the industry
  • Network and maintain relationships with key client and talent communities for short/long term opportunities
  • Travel regularly within the Chicagoland area to a core dedicated list of clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on results
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently without requiring extensive management
  • Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

Experienced, with a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in sales

Adept at generating new streams of substantial revenue

Self-motivated, passionate, and hungry to make a big impact

Competitive and Resilient - there are good days and bad days, you've got to pick yourself up often

Excellent at negotiating and closing deals

Proactive - taking initiative and following through is a must

Creative & resourceful with sales strategies
