When in the acute care nursing units the majority of the work is related to dysphagia / swallowing. Having the knowledge and skill set to perform a bedside swallow exam is key. If it s determined the patient needs a MBS, then a different therapist could perform that, but the bedside swallow exam is required first before deciding if they actually need a MBS acure care experience highly preferredexperience with bedside swallow evaluations and treatments requiredvideo fluoroscopy swallow evaluation experience preferred. RN/LPN: Active Minnesota license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at submission.
