Join our team as a Clinical Senior Speech Pathologist and make a meaningful difference across rural and remote communities. This rewarding leadership role offers the opportunity to provide complex clinical care, mentor and support Speech Pathologists, contribute to clinical education, research and service improvement, and lead a portfolio that strengthens Speech Pathology practice across the region. What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

  • Qualifications: Hold a recognised Speech Pathology qualification and be eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA); participation in the Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program is desirable.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide high-level, evidence-based Speech Pathology services, clinical expertise and consultancy for complex cases across the region.
  • Supervision & Education: Mentor, supervise and support Speech Pathologists and students, while contributing to professional development, clinical education and rural workforce development.
  • Service Development: Lead and contribute to service improvement, research, evaluation and the development of consistent, high-quality Speech Pathology practices across RMCLHN.
  • Collaboration & Advocacy: Build strong multidisciplinary and community partnerships, promote client-centred and culturally safe care, and represent Speech Pathology across regional networks and relevant forums.

  • Clinical & Leadership Expertise: Demonstrate extensive clinical experience, rural/remote practice, clinical supervision, education, leadership, service development, research and project management skills.

  • Service Improvement & Communication: Provide examples of quality improvement, evaluation, research, service planning, problem solving, data management and strong communication skills that support continuous improvement.
