Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans including dysphagia management and AAC
  • Conduct modified barium swallow referrals and complete clinical swallow evaluations
  • Document sessions, progress, and outcomes per facility and payer requirements
  • Educate patients, families, and care team on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Maintain productivity and participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings

Requirements

  • Active state SLP license and CCC-SLP (or CF eligible)
  • CPR/BLS certification current
  • Minimum 1 year of SLP experience; SNF/LTC or post-acute setting preferred
  • Competence in clinical swallow evaluations and dysphagia management
  • Proficiency with EMR documentation and Medicare billing compliance
