As MEMS Quality Manager for Amphenol NovaSensor, you will be a key member of the business leadership team, defining and executing a world-class quality strategy in close partnership with our Amphenol manufacturing operations. You will champion the Voice of the Customer, drive a Zero Defects culture, and advance the organization through the disciplined application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. • Serve as the leadership quality interface for customers, regulatory bodies, and key suppliers, leading audits, resolving escalations, and protecting the company’s reputation for technical excellence and reliability.
  • Improve robust business-wide systems for nonconformance management, CAPA, risk mitigation, and failure analysis, ensuring systemic root cause resolution and sustained corrective action effectiveness.
  • Drive operational performance improvement through data-driven quality and Lean transformation initiatives, leveraging SPC, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen to improve yield, reliability, cost, and delivery.
  • Lead supplier quality management, including supplier qualification, quality agreements, incoming inspection strategies, and supplier corrective action programs.
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to embed quality excellence across new product introductions (including APQP), product lifecycle management, and global production transfers.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in MEMS, sensor, semiconductor, or electronic component manufacturing; familiarity with assembly/test for pressure sensors is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in leading and sustaining compliant Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485), including successful management of customer and third-party audits.
  • Command of automotive and medical core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, MSA, control plans, …) and advanced structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Whys, CAPA).
  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement leadership, driving measurable gains in yield, reliability, and cost through Lean and Six Sigma deployment.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Lean transformation tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, 5S, and visual management in high-volume manufacturing.
