About the Role

MWH is currently seeking an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) to support sustainability certification efforts across our water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. This position will serve as the primary coordinator for the Envision program, managing the tracking, documentation, and submission of sustainability credits to support project certification through the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to track and record sustainability achievements across multiple Envision categories, helping projects achieve targeted certification levels.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage Envision certification efforts for assigned infrastructure projects
  • Track, document, and maintain sustainability credits across approximately 1012 Envision categories
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, construction, and project management teams to collect required documentation and supporting evidence
  • Monitor project progress toward certification goals and identify opportunities to maximize point attainment
  • Maintain sustainability scorecards, certification trackers, and project documentation records
  • Prepare certification submissions and supporting materials for review by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI)
  • Facilitate sustainability and Envision coordination meetings with project teams and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on Envision requirements and sustainable infrastructure best practices
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support proposal and business development efforts by contributing sustainability expertise as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting sustainability programs, environmental initiatives, infrastructure projects, or certification programs
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) certification
  • Experience managing Envision certification efforts on infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) requirements and processes
  • Experience with LEED, ESG, sustainability reporting, or similar certification frameworks
  • Background in water, wastewater, heavy civil, or transportation infrastructure projects
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
