About the Role
Our client is a rapidly growing mortgage lending company. They are seeking a Post Closing Specialist to own loan delivery, purchase timelines, and post-closing issue resolution across investor and whole-loan channels.
This individual is accountable for ensuring that funded loans are delivered accurately, purchased efficiently, and resolved effectively when issues arise. The role serves as the primary owner of investor delivery operations and rebuttals, as well as the main point of contact for correspondent sellers and institutional investors.
This is a hands-on position suited for someone who has independently managed suspense pipelines, negotiated rebuttals, and understands how post-closing execution directly impacts cash flow, counterparty confidence, and risk management.
The role operates fully post-close, with decision-making authority once loans are funded, and plays a critical role in protecting capital and scaling delivery operations.
This is a full-time remote role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of funded loans through purchase

  • Manage investor suspense, rebuttals, and curative documentation

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery disputes and delayed purchases

  • Oversee offshore post-closing teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness

  • Track purchase timelines, aging pipeline, and days-to-cash

  • Act as the main point of contact for investors and correspondent sellers

  • Establish and enforce delivery SLAs and performance standards

  • Analyze delivery defects and implement process improvements

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of post-closing and investor delivery experience

  • Demonstrated ownership of delivery, suspense, and rebuttal processes

  • Experience resolving investor exceptions and purchase delays

  • Familiarity with LOS platforms and investor delivery portals

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage cash timing metrics

  • Clear communicator with strong judgment and accountability
