The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Surety Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for book of business and new business as referred. Manage all aspects of client’s commercial insurance needs, from information gathering, preparing applications and renewal marketing to policy administration. Risk Identification process execution, program design, implementation. Participate in day-to-day communication with clients proactively Assist clients with questions and issue resolution Participate as a Team member in a fast-paced, growing sales environment open to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School degree Experience managing book of business Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple clients Detail oriented, resourceful – strong decision-making skills. Effective verbal and written communication – communication written up after every renewal meeting Excellent interpersonal skills and client service skills Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure. Ability to participate both as a team member and as a team leader. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
