Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Field Service - Supplier Quality Support Manager plays a key role in developing and maintaining a market presence with McDonald's Owner Operators, restaurant personnel, Field Office staff and distribution centers within assigned markets. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring Lopez Dorada product performance, quality and customer satisfaction within assigned market. This role ensures Lopez Dorada remains the supplier of choice to the McDonald's system within assigned categories and territories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops and maintains a preferred business relationship with McDonald's Field Office staff, Owner/Operators, and distribution centers in assigned markets. Champions Lopez Dorada's business philosophies, quality and food safety improvement initiatives, and other pertinent information to the McDonald's system. Promotes the Lopez Dorada brand.
  • Participates in development and execution of the Lopez Dorada Field Team annual strategic plan. Provides updates on assigned areas of responsibilities during regular plan update meetings.
  • Partners with McDonald's Menu Innovation, US Operations and Field Office teams to support new product/platform development, testing, and deployment in assigned markets. Identifies opportunities to improve product/platform integration into the restaurants and introduce restaurant innovations.
  • Participates in across the counter/behind the counter field data collection opportunities focusing on restaurant operations, equipment calibration/performance and product quality.
  • Actively gathers product performance and satisfaction information from customers; troubleshoots quality related opportunities in the field and communicates internally to inform key stakeholders and resolve product performance opportunities.
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing product damages within assigned distribution centers.
  • Relays information regarding planned promotional activities, limited time offers and regional product activity within assigned markets to Field Service - Supplier Quality Support Director.
  • Stays current with a full understanding of McDonald's restaurant operations, equipment, distribution systems, and Lopez Dorada's manufacturing & safety processes.
  • Fully understands Lopez Dorada's product quality attributes.
  • Participates in various McDonald's field activities/events, including but not limited to Field Office Meetings, NFOM's (National Field Office Meeting), World Wide Conventions, Purchasing Committee meetings and Ronald McDonald House Charity events in order to promote Lopez Dorada and maximize the opportunity to further build relationships. Identifies opportunities to involve Lopez Dorada leadership in such activities.
