Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, seeks an Integration Services Engineer to join our team at our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
The Integration Services Engineer analyzes, designs, builds, and operates enterprise integrations that connect cloud and on-premise systems reliably, securely, and at scale. This role is critical to enabling seamless business operations through standardized, scalable integration patterns and platforms. The Integration Services Engineer's focus is to reduce integration complexity across systems, improve reliability and operational resilience, accelerate delivery through reuseable data patterns and automation. The Integration Services Engineer plays a role in Agile planning, providing advice and guidance, and monitoring emerging trends. Depending on the project, the Software Engineer may work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
What are the primary responsibilities?
  • Integration Design & Delivery
    • Design and implement integration solutions aligned to enterprise patterns
    • Build APIs, workflows, and event-driven solutions using Azure
  • Integration Services
    • Translate requirements into specifications and interface contracts
  • Platform Engineering & Operations
    • Configure connectors, endpoints, authentication, and resiliency patterns
    • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements
    • Work with Cloud Architect and Cloud Engineer to focus on connecting disparate system, manage data flows and implement more complex, secure IT Infrastructure,middleware solutions and back end systems/applications integrations.
  • Security, Governance & Compliance
    • Implement identity-based access and API security
      Enforce governance standards and support audits
  • DevOps, CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code
    • Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment
    • Use IaC (Bicep, Terraform)
    • Set-up and manage Azure Dev Ops
    • Experience with Azure Landing Zone framework, set-up Azure security model, and access using Entra ID/MFA
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with application teams, data, and security teams
    • Contribute to standards and best practices
  • Systems Integration:
    • Works with Application Software Engineers to produce software build for loading onto the target hardware from software source code.
    • Uses established CI/CD tools and methodologies.
    • Collaborates with network administrators, systems analysts, database administrators, systems engineering administrators, software engineers, and quality assurance to ensure software is implemented effectively.
    • Azure ETL capabilities using Function application and stored procedures
    • Configure Azure Fabric and deploying its packaged components
    • Work data warehousing platforms (Snowflake or Databricks) and integrating with AIS
    • Integrate Enterprise One (JDE) with similar enterprise level applications (Salesforce, Workday, Zendesk)

    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or related field
    • Proven experience designing and delivering integration solutions in enterprise environments
    • Hands-on expertise with Azure Integration Services:
    • Azure Logic Apps (workflows, connectors, orchestration)
    • Azure API Management (policies, security, versioning)
    • Azure Service Bus (queues, topics, DLQs, retries)
    • Azure Event Grid (event routing, subscriptions)
    • Azure Functions (serverless integration logic)
    • Azure Key Vault / Storage (secrets and payload handling)
    • Integration & API Engineering
      • Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML
      • Experience with event-driven and message-based architectures
      • Knowledge of integration patterns (idempotency, retries, correlation IDs)
    • Troubleshooting
      • Experience diagnosing production issues across distributed systems
      • Strong root cause analysis mindset with focus on permanent resolution
      • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability practices
    • DevOps & Automation
      • CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
      • Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform)
      • Source control (Git) and release management practices
    • Security & Identity
      • Experience with Azure identity and security:
      • Entra ID (Azure AD), managed identities
      • OAuth2 / OpenID Connect
      • API security (JWT validation, throttling, IP filtering)
      • Secrets management and rotation
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience integrating enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Workday, SAP Concur, Oracle JDE Enterprise One, ServiceNow, Buildpro, Zendesk, etc.)
    • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics
    • Exposure to data platforms (ADF, Synapse, Databricks)
    • Azure certifications (AZ-204, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
    • Experience with hybrid/multi-platform integration environments
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
