As a PSYOP Planner, you will be a key differentiator. Our work depends on a PSYOP Planner joining our team to support CCMD staff that participates in the Joint Planning Process (JPP). You will use your subject matter expertise with PSYOP capabilities and experience with Internet-Based PSYOP to advise operators on methods of leveraging informational power to gain and maintain an information advantage.

HOW A PSYOP PLANNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Develops integrated PSYOP and supporting activities into CCPs, contingency plans, crisis plans, theater campaign orders, and ongoing operations.

  • Assists other joint planners in incorporating their understanding of how information impacts the operational information environment to best leverage PSYOP.

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of the operational environment to identify key target audiences and assess their beliefs, values, and motivations.

  • Collaborates with analyst to develop persuasive and culturally appropriate messaging that aligns with strategic objectives.

  • Develops detailed PSYOP campaign plans, including timelines, taskings, and measures of effectiveness.

  • Collaborates with other CCMDs, intelligence analysts, and operational units to synchronize messaging and actions across different platforms.

  • Develops and executes digital communication strategies to influence target audiences online, coordinating with adjacent staff sections to ensure consistent messaging.

  • May lead a team or teams of Analysts and oversee their day-to-day tasking

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree required; significant specialized experience may be substituted in lieu.

  • Experience: Requires 7+ years of related experience, including experience in the development of PSYOP plans and programs at the brigade level or higher.

  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI eligibility required.

  • Skills and abilities: Completion of PSYOP qualification, Joint IO Planning, or IO Integration courses required. Deep understanding of online communication platforms, expertise in digital marketing, strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of foreign cultures, and awareness of legal and ethical considerations for online information operations.

Location: Customer Site (Tampa, FL).

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
