Short Description
  • Responsible for the procuring, receiving, stocking and distribution of supplies to hospital departments and patient care areas and off-site facilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory with storage of hospital furniture, special projects furniture and equipment.
  • Accurately receive, monitor, deliver and rectify discrepancies.
  • Manage the distribution trucks and courier routes and deliveries to off-site locations.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily workflow for Distribution Center, monitoring the pace and flow of product from receiving though shipping.
  • Leading a team of workers, delegating work, and supervising their daily responsibilities.
  • Maintaining Occupational Safety and Health Administration norms for the safety of warehouse workers.
  • Accurately receive, monitor, deliver and rectify discrepancies for capital equipment.
  • Assist Directors at Warehouse and Hospital as needed.

Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in healthcare materials management with at least 3 years supervisory or related experience preferred.
  • Health care experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of perpetual inventory control, shipping, receiving and storage.
  • Knowledge of healthcare purchasing, inventory management systems, procurement, supplies distribution/ operations and contracting, capital equipment and automated systems.

Education Requirements
HS Diploma or GED Required.
License/Certification Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license. Motor vehicle record must meet CUHC standard criteria to be permitted to drive CUHC vehicles.
Special Requirements
Good analytical skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
